ScotFestBC: The 128th British Columbia Highland Games.
Piping, drumming, pipe band, highland dancing and heavy event competitions.
Plus live Celtic music, dancing all day, food and merchandise vendors.

Early Bird Tickets available for $25 up to June 9, 2025 after which the price increases to $30 online and at the gate.

Friday Evening Whisky Gourmet: June 20

Here's your chance to welcome summer with friends at ScotFestBC along the shores of Lafarge Lake. Great award-winning whiskies (up to six) paired with a mix of local and Scottish foods from Surrey's British Store.  This is a unique experience matching fine foods with exceptional whiskies.  Come celebrate Canada's award-winning whiskies, then join us in the Big Tent for an evening of music from Tiller's Folly and more. 

Please note: a ticket is needed for this event, admission to the whisky classes is restricted to adults, 19 years of age or older, with valid ID. Entry to the Games event site on Friday is free.

Join us for an evening where Scottish tradition meets local flavour. This gourmet session features a pairing of award-winning Macaloney Distillery whiskies with a curated selection of Scottish-inspired local delicacies.

Tasting #1: Macaloney’s Single Malt Whisky “Na Braiche” & Scottish Scones
Rich malt character, honeyed sweetness, orchard fruit, soft oak spice, biscuity finish paired with a savoury Scottish potato scone.

Tasting #2: Macaloney’s Single Malt Whisky “Kildara” & British Sausage Roll
Triple distilled smoothness, creamy vanilla, tropical fruit, pot still spice, oak influence paired with a classic Great Britain sausage roll from The British Store.

Tasting #3: Macaloney’s Single Malt Whisky “Siol Dugall” & Lorne Sausage
Subtle peat smoke, maritime saltiness, black pepper, dried fruit, malty backbone paired with Lorne (Square) Sausage. Awarded the best Canadian Single Malt 2023  at the World Whiskies Awards.

Tasting #4: Macaloney’s Single Malt Whisky “Kirkinriola” & Haggis
Dark berries, baking spice, red wine tannins, toasted oak, rich mouthfeel paired with the classic taste of Scotland’s national dish, the “great chieftain of the puddin’ race” – Haggis.

Tasting #5: Macaloney’s Single Malt “An Aba” & British Chocolate
Smoky-sweet balance, caramel, cocoa, lingering campfire smoke paired with British dairy-milk chocolate.

Early Bird tickets for all Saturday Whisky School Classes are available for $45 ($45 + $2.00 booking fee.) until June 9.  After June 9:  $55.

Whisky School tickets are available in advance online
(recommended) $45 ($45.00 + $2.00 booking fee) for adults 19 years of age and older until June 9. 
Whisky School tickets are
not sold at the entry gate but there may be a limited number available at the ScotFestBC info booth near the main entrance. Check early. 
You need an event entry ticket in order to access the Whisky School.

Straight Session Cocktails  3:30 - 4:30 pm

It’s a fun and informative way to wrap up the highland games before massed pipe bands at 5:00 pm.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TICKET PURCHASE

  1. A booking fee is added to each individual festival ticket.
  2. Purchased tickets cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
  3. No re-selling of tickets is permitted, tickets are sent close to the event.
  4. All under 12's must be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs. Unaccompanied children/youths will not be permitted entry.
  5. Proof of age may be requested at the point of entry and at the bars. The Challenge 25 campaign is applied so please bring ID if you are lucky enough to be mistaken for someone under 25yrs old.
  6. The festival reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, and to vary the advertised programme and timings without being liable to pay compensation.
  7. The festival will refuse admission or eject a ticket holder for unreasonable or dangerous behaviour.
  8. No animals (except guide dogs or dogs part of the program) are permitted into the festival site.
  9. No glass (bottles, jars etc) will be allowed into the festival site, any found on entry will be confiscated.
  10. Photographic, video or audio reproduction of artists is prohibited.
  11. Ticket holders consent to inclusion in official photographic, visual and audio promotion / recording of the festival.
  12. Fireworks, smoke canisters, and other similar articles are not permitted within the festival site.
  13. No illegal substances may be brought into the festival site.
  14. No independent sound systems are permitted.
  15. Ticket holders may be subject to being searched on entry, before and during the event.
  16. Exposure to loud music may cause damage to hearing, please bring ear defenders / plugs if you require them.
  17. No traders of any type to sell on site without permission of the organisers.
  18. Alcohol: Only alcohol purchased on site is permitted. Age-verification wristbands must be obtained prior ordering any alcohol.
  19. Final rules to be agreed in conjunction with Licensing officials, police and event organisers.
