With Macaloney’s Whisky in hand, engage directly with Graeme as he shares the stories behind his "World’s Best" winners. Paired with authentic savory appetizers from The British Store, this is the ultimate VIP launch for the weekend.

Smoke, Sea, and Terroir. This is the ultimate session for the smoke-lover who thinks they’ve tasted it all. While the world looks to the mossy bogs of Islay, Macaloney’s has spent years perfecting a purely North American peated profile that is as bold as the Pacific spirit. Join Duncan Polson for a masterclass in The Peat Project—a technical and sensory journey into the most unique smoke-infusion process in the industry.

* Following this class, you'll have time to make it to the Lew Ross Field for the finale' "Massed Pipe Bands", followed by The Barra MacNeil's in the Big Tent. 

5. The Peat Project - Saturday 4:00 - 4:45 pm

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TICKET PURCHASE

  1. A booking fee is added to each individual festival ticket.
  2. Purchased tickets cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
  3. No re-selling of tickets is permitted, tickets are sent close to the event.
  4. All under 12's must be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs. Unaccompanied children/youths will not be permitted entry.
  5. Proof of age may be requested at the point of entry and at the bars. The Challenge 25 campaign is applied so please bring ID if you are lucky enough to be mistaken for someone under 25yrs old.
  6. The festival reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, and to vary the advertised programme and timings without being liable to pay compensation.
  7. The festival will refuse admission or eject a ticket holder for unreasonable or dangerous behaviour.
  8. No animals (except guide dogs or dogs part of the program) are permitted into the festival site.
  9. No glass (bottles, jars etc) will be allowed into the festival site, any found on entry will be confiscated.
  10. Photographic, video or audio reproduction of artists is prohibited.
  11. Ticket holders consent to inclusion in official photographic, visual and audio promotion / recording of the festival.
  12. Fireworks, smoke canisters, and other similar articles are not permitted within the festival site.
  13. No illegal substances may be brought into the festival site.
  14. No independent sound systems are permitted.
  15. Ticket holders may be subject to being searched on entry, before and during the event.
  16. Exposure to loud music may cause damage to hearing, please bring ear defenders / plugs if you require them.
  17. No traders of any type to sell on site without permission of the organisers.
  18. Alcohol: Only alcohol purchased on site is permitted. Age-verification wristbands must be obtained prior ordering any alcohol.
  19. Final rules to be agreed in conjunction with Licensing officials, police and event organisers.
